The let down after yesterday’s wins was inevitable and it showed in all aspects of this game. Physical mistakes, mental errors on the bases and some poor at bats are the only way to describe this game. No one in the lineup had a multi hit game. We waited until the top of the ninth to mount any type of offense and that was with the help of two walks and a hit batter. The 10-8 score was not a reflection of the actual game.

Brandon Quirk did a nice job with four innings of solid relief. Pat Murray drove in two runs with a double. Scott O’Brien reached base four times via three walks and a base hit. Other than those three performances we were really flat as a team.

If everything goes as planned we will open up against Holyoke CC next Friday at 3:00 pm at Louis R. Colombo Field on the Brockton campus. Bunker Hill CC will face Northern Essex CC in a 3:00 pm game at Edgar’s Playground. The winners will face each other Saturday morning at Massasoit CC and the loses will play an elimination game at Edgars.
