Make it three in a row…

The Warriors traveled to Worcester to play the Quinsigamond CC Wyverns and came away with a 15-5 victory. Dave Tarr was in total command from inning one through inning seven. The sophomore left hander recorded an impressive 15 strike outs and only allowed one hit and no earned runs. The two runs Quisigamond scored, came as a result of some very poor infield play in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the score 14-2 and Dave at 107 pitches, his day was done.

Pat Murray continues to be a force from the two hole in the line-up. “Muzz” had a three hit day, scored two runs and plated three Warriors runners. Trevor Packard had a pair of hits a pair of rbi and reached base four times. Dave Murphy hitting third in the line-up knocked in a pair of runs. Matt Levasseur reached base five times via three bases on balls and a pair of hits as the designated hitters spot has finally begun to become an integral part of the offense.

The Warriors have finally reached the .500 mark and stand at 7-7. Tomorrow Tom Protentis will take the mound for the second time this season again the University of CT at Avery Point. This game will be a real test for thew Warriors and will start at 3:30 pm at Louis R. Colombo Field.
