Massasoit CC 20 – Dean College 10

The Warriors put up 20 runs in an abbreviated 6 inning game, at Louis R. Colombo Field on the Brockton campus. Every Warrior had at least two hits on the day. Tyler Andrade, Chris Roumbakis, Ben Monteiro, Travis Ritchie and Scott O’Brien all had three hit afternoons. Brandon Quirk had three innings of solid relief to pick up his second win of the year. The wind was blowing out and the Bulldogs had to home runs, but those were matched by Scott O’Brien and Luke Nagle who both had two run blasts. It was a solid day for the offense and the Warriors improve to 14-12 on the season. The team travels to Haverhill on Saturday for a key matchup with Northern Essex CC, last year’s Region XXI Champs. The twin bill starts at 12:00 with Dave Tarr and Ben Monteiro taking the mound for the Warriors.
