The Warriors showed their inconsistency for the second day in a row. After a solid win in the first game behind Dave Tarr’s solid performance, the JV squad from ECSU battered the Warrior pitching staff for 15 runs in the second game of the day.

Joe Walsh had a monster day, as he went 3 for 4 with a home run and five runs batted in the first game and he had a pair of hits including another home run in the second game. No other Warrior had a multi-hit game in either of the two contests.

Dave Tarr was effective as he recorded five strikeouts, while scattering six hits. This effort resulted in Dave’s third win of the season. This outing sets him up to face Bunker Hill CC next weekend in the final conference games prior to the Region XXI Tournament.

The Warriors face Northern Essex CC in the rubber game of a three game league series, to be played at home at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
