The Warriors were simply outplayed by Riverland CC. Pat Murray plead a solid game at the hot corner and reached base twice as he singled and was hit by a pitch. Travis Ritchie had a pair of hits out of the lead-off spot for the Warriors. Corey Walker pitched better than the score, as his complete game effort saved the bullpen for another day.

The Warriors left twelve runners on base (eight in scoring position) and simply couldn’t come up with a timely hit. The Warriors take the field tomorrow in a one o’clock against the Academy of Baseball Canada, with Brent Eaton getting the start for Massasoit.

Pat had a great defensive day at third base and reached base twice for the Warriors.
