Warriors Drop Two…

The Warriors showed all the effects of a late night arrival to Historic Dodgertown on Thursday, with two lackluster performances on Friday. A total of 19 walks over 14 innings spelled disaster for the Warriors. In the first game 11-2 loss to Parkland JC (IL), Sean Manning hit a triple to drive in one of the two runs. Alex Carey, Dave Murphy and Joe Commesso also had a hit.

In the second game the Academy of Baseball Canada, plated five runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back. A pair of errors didn’t help and the Warriors were held to two hits, singles by Alex Carey and Justin Martinho.

Tomorrow the Warriors will take on the Ontario Blue Jays at 1:00 pm with Mike Nader taking the mound. There will be a 7:00 pm game against Riverland CC (MN) with Jake Stearns making his first start of the season.
