Warriors win 10-8

Scott Anderson pitched four solid innings of relief, allowing an unearned run and striking out three in a 10-8 win over the Ontario Blue Jays. The Warriors found themselves in a 7-2 hole when Scott entered the game. The sophomore right-hander hung tough and kept the Warriors hopes alive. In the top of the fourth inning Alex Carey drove in two runs wth a double and Tyler Morini followed with his own two bagger to plate Alex to bring the Warriors within a run.

In the top of the sixth inning, Pat Matthews led off with a walk, Carey was hit by a pitch and Morini reached base for the fourth time on a base on balls. Bryan Dwyer proceeded to rip a ball down the third base line to plate the go ahead runs and give the Warriors their first win of the 2016 season.

After a day off, the Warriors play Marshalltown CC (IA) on Wednesday in a noon time game.
