The Warriors finally played a complete game that featured great pitching from Zack Reid, timely hitting up and down the lineup and only a single miscue in the field. Alex Carey did a great job out of the lead-off spot reaching base twice and added to the mix with a web gem in center field on a sinking line drive. Dave Murphy turned two acrobatic double plays at shortstop. Sean Manning and Nick Oliveira in the four and five holes in the lineup combined to knock in 5 runs. Nicky went four for four on the day. The key to the win was the dominant pitching performance by Zack Reid. He scattered five hits, struck out seven and did not walk a batter.

Today we played all three aspects of the game well. We pitched, hit and played defense. Tomorrow we play St. Lawrence at 1:00 pm, with Mike Nader taking the mound for the Warriors.

Zack Reid pitched a gem, striking out 7 hitters and scattering 5 hits in a 10-2 win.
