The Warriors swept the Mass Bay CC Buccaneers at Louis R. Colombo Field by scores of 22-0 and 11-1. The Buccaneers have only played one game so far this season and struggled defensively in the first game. Shane Holmes was dealing and only allowed one hit while striking out seven batters. Travis Ritchie and Matt Levasseur each had four hit days. Travis is in a zone and had a triple, double and two singles and scored all four times. Levesseur had six hits and six rbi as he played in both games of the double header.
Luke Nagle took the mound in game two and scattered four hits, k’d seven batters and allowed his first run of the season after fourteen scoreless innings. Collin Ross had two hits and scored twice and Nick Oliveira had a pair of hits and two rbi.
The Warriors are schedule to visit Quinsiamond CC in a Conference game on Tuesday at 3:30 pm. David Tarr will take the mound for the Warriors.
