The Warriors took the field on a very cold day against the Naval Prep squad from Newport, RI. The game scheduled for a four o’clock start, was delayed until almost quarter to five, as the Naval Prep players had to be immunized prior to the departure. Coupled with the wind, the cold and the fact it was their first game outside did not create ideal game conditions. Eleven walks and six hits was enough to plate nine runs and account for the fourth win in five games since returning from Florida, for the Warriors.

Luke Nagle, Ethan Kelley and Brandon Quirk combined for the five inning shut out. Tyler Andrade stayed hot, drilling two doubles and walking twice for a perfect day at the plate. The Warriors played errorless ball for the third game in a row. All of this will serve as solid preparation, as Quinsigamond CC travels to Louis R. Colombo Field for the first of 15 Divisional games to be played to determine who will participate in the Region XXI Tournament.  The Tournament will be played at Massasoit CC the weekend of May 10-12, 2013
