Warriors Sweep!

The Warriors swept a pair of games from the Mass Bay CC Buccaneers, 7-1 and 12-4. The Warriors are now 3-0 in Division III. In the first game, Dave Tarr allowed an unearned run in the bottom of the first inning on an infield error. After that he was in complete control as he struck out nine without issuing a walk and setting down the last fifteen Buccaneers in a row. Luke Nagle Crushed a two run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give the Warriors some breathing room. Ben Monteiro and Chris Roumbakis each had a pair of hits and scored twice to lead the offense.

Ben Monteiro took the mound in the second game and picked up his third win of the season (3-1).  Ben struck out nine batters and only allowed one earned run in his complete game effort. Benny also had a great day at the plate as he helped his own cause by crushing two double and driving in a pair of runs.Trevor Packard and Chris Roumbakis both had three hits. Trevor drove in a run and Rambo plated a pair of runs. Chris Samaras had a solid day at third base making several great plays to his backhand side and throwing out the runners with room to spare.

The Warriors take the field again tomorrow in a twin bill with the Franklin Pierce JV at 12:00 at Louis R. Colombo Field on the Brockton Campus.
